Well, First of all, it's hot. The type of thing that is so good that it _has_ to be illegal. AyaXYouji fics are already like that, but then you go and add Irvine and Squall to the equation, and then it gets to the point when you have to read it when no one is around so you won't embarass yourself... The characterization was really good. For me, who doesn't know much about FF, it was great to get into the heads of those two who were, otherwise, just two (really) pretty faces. Aya and Youji are great too, they felt really familiar (--> doesn't like OCC-ness). Something that also struck me as great was the pace of the story, it never felt rushed or delayed, things happened naturally and in the right moment. Anyway, this fic is great 'cause it presents the ultimate yaoi fantasy but in a really believable manner... the sex scenes are great (I mean, GREAT), but the conflict of the characters is also really interesting, and the amount of angst is just right. So pleeeeeaaaaaase, keep writing this story, it's absolutely wondeful... ^__^ bestbits: Oh yeah. Squall. Aya. Wall. That's an image that'll take me a looong time to forget. |

I don't like sex scenes as a rule. They embarass and unnerve me and I usually just read around them. . . which admittedly does cut great chunks out of the Scribblemoose body of work. But that's OK. What remains is some of the most spot-on characterization I've ever seen including just about the only Squall/Irvine that I could take seriously. My whole point in delurking and doing this feedback, is to hopefully plant an evil little plot seed. We've seen the Seeds (lame pun intended) in Tokyo, any chance of plopping Weiss in Balamb? Easily enough explained: Aya-chan turns out to be a Sorceress (the reason Esset wanted her for their ritual) and whatever Odine and Rinoa (you know Rinoa _will_ get involved in getting Squall back) cook up to get their boys back ends up dragging Aya-chan and _her_ Knight (probably Ran, but Yohji could work and Ken would be good for all kinds of Ran-nervousness)and the rest of her Knight's team along for the ride. Then of course we have loads of potential plot, character development beautiful angst and fun finding a way to get Weiss back to Tokyo. Assuming that Weiss and Aya-chan even _want_ to go back that is. Think about the possibilities! Sounds good right? Admit it, you _want_ a chance to repeatedly plop the guys in those Estharian elevators. Please let me know if futher subtle nagging (or even unsubtle puppy-dog-eyes-ing) would help my case. I have one sometimes two, minutes to myself every day... I could manage that. Will be checking the updates hopefully, bestbits: Characters |

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love your FF8 fics, especially the Sniper Slut series. I actually caught on to them through Sniper Slut in Tokyo, which I really really really hope gets more chapters soon, because I was hooked on Aya and Yohji a long time before I read my first FF8 fic. Actually, I think that WAS my first FF8 fic. I'm guessing Conquest happens just before Tokyo, and that's why Odine's waiting for them? I am curious about one thing overall with Irvine. Specifically, Ether. In Meifu, Irvine mentions that he picked up Ether in another world. Ether also shows up in Elevator (yes I know, it's an AU), and in Sands of Time (which, I confess, I've only skimmed bits and pieces of). I do remember Ether saying that Irvine promised to junction only it, no other GFs. Are you ever planning on giving the backstory of how Irvine got Ether? Or is that in Memories and I need to read through that? If Ether's in the Sniper Slut series, was it picked up after Tokyo, since there's no mention of it there? I'd love to know more about that GF that seems to fit Irvine so very perfectly. I didn't start playing FF8 until after I'd read several of your fics, and you have no idea how disappointed I was when I found out Ether wasn't in the game! bestbits: Anything Irvine and Squall! Okay, seriously, I think one of my favorite scenes of all time is Aya breaking up the fight between Ken and Squall, when he comes to the realization that he truly can trust Squall and Irvine, that they really aren't a threat. That and Yohji tripping on the stairs into Irvine's arms... or at least, that's how they remember it. Lovely line. Are Manx and Birman really going to hire them? I'd LOVE to see them run across Weiss in a mission, as their contacts or something... something more to Yohji and Aya indeed! |

Another wonderful story! I had the good sense to start this one early today so I'll probably be able to go to sleep. This series was so bloody hot! I dont know that much about the Fantasy world (practically nothing) but I could still totally get into the story! It was very good. Im going on to read your other stories now. If I have time I'll probably leave a review for those too. p.s If it isnt too much of a bother could you recommend some good WK stories? |

This is a very original crossover. I've never seen anyone bring characters so elegently into another storyline. Most people just dump all the characters together and they automatically become friends or start shagging each other. You made Squall, Irvine, ect., into real people who angst and suffer. Very few writers care to, or are even able to, show that level of human emotions. |
