[Tinsel] o_O OMG!! XD MY ABSOULUTE FAVORITE FF8 FICTION EVER!! *starts wriggling on the floor like a worm* It just makes you all fuzzy and happy on the inside and AAAAWWWWW!!! IT'S JUST SO CCCCUUUUUTTTTTEEEE!!!

The best part was when Squall wraped the tinsle around Irvine's neck and kissed him! I swear! There is no better FF8 pairing than this! ^_______________^

[Tinsel] I can't believe I've not gushed about this story yet. It's such a sweet one!

I adore the bit in the middle where Irvine says he wants Squall to be his uke, then defines it. If more writers of slash and homoerotica were to understand the roll of the receiver, there'd be far less horrible fiction out there, more stories devoted to the notion of love and mutual pleasure. I applaud you for that absolutely wonderful section and the reflection of its sentiment in all your stories.

When people ask me what "uke" means, I quote that. Memorized it to use in any situation where people don't know how men have sex. It's not about pain; it's about pleasure. You're wonderful for recognizing, writing, and promoting that notion.

i just got caught up on blood and sand and i think it's becoming my favorite story of yours. my god, but you write amazing smut. *grin* but calling this story smut just seems like doing it an injustice...because the smut you write is just so human and real...and some of the sex scenes in this story are just so beautiful and sweet that they almost made me cry. i love your smut because it's character revealing...you show us the characters at their most real and vulnerable and human...stripped of all the masks and facades that a person must wear to get on in the world...and in doing so you manage to show us ourselves...to express some kind of deeper universal truth...something g beautiful and human and real...and that deserves to be called something more than smut. anyway, thank you very much for this story...i am really touched by it.

Wow! That was a hell of a chapter. It had a little bit of everything. I can honestly say that with this one you took my heart wrung it out turned it inside out, stomped on it a few times for good measure before returning it to me right side out… in other words I was all over the place – angst – dread (no guys don’t fight – you can’t break up) a sniffle . ( he wanted to leave Irvine… - noooo you belong together) then they make up…
Big stupid grin on my face. What can I say I love you… Can I bottle your talent and hide it away somewhere so when I have a crappy day I can open it and just be amazed.. But I guess that would be selfish (pouts!) Okay guess I have to keep sharing you. I’ll just wait expectantly for the final chapter. Still so giddy don’t think I can sleep. Maybe I’ll go harass the hubbie - make him benefit from you wonderful reunion scene J (winks)

Chapter 7 - I particularly liked this chapter, cuz it was such a transition. There has been a lot of building the relationship between Irvine and Squall for several chapters, but this was different. This chapter finally gets you into the heart of the plot. One that seems to get my interesting all the time. I admit, in the earlier chapters, i wasn't totally sure just what was going on, but this chapter explains alot. Not only that but its sets you up for whats going to be going on next. Will Squall give up his happiness to save the world? etc.. I like the setting. It's different. I got this whole "Lord of the Rings" vibe with the whole "going over the snowy mountain" thing. This chapter was also different, becuase the focus was not on Irvine and Squall so much, it was on Seifer and what was going on. Yet, you managed to make the fangirls (myself) very happy by putting a very short (yet very hot) scene between Irvine and Squall. That was yummy.

bestbits: The conversation in the back of the line during the march. I found Selphie extremely amusing. And i like Quistis being all gossipy.
It was VERY hot when Irvine decided to "help squall out", trying to be quiet. Very nice. I think my favorite part is the idea you have that Squall might have to give up irvine to become a knight for Cass. It's very original, and nothing i would have ever seen coming. It makes me nervous and excited at the same time. I can never get over how creative you are. I'm always on the edge of my seat.

Chapter 7 - Loved it. And had a twisted idea (feel free to ignore my rambling about it). Squall may be trying to prepare himself for becoming Cass' knight... but what if Irvine turns out to be the "Knight" material Cass really seeks?

bestbits: The chatty gossipy scene with Quistis, Selphie, Irvine and Zell because the friendly gossipy feel read nicely and was fun.

chap 6 - I loved this! I love you for writing this. What a pleasant surprise. I knew I should have checked in on your page more often. This fic was better than Cadbury milk chocolate dipped in peanutbutter ( my newly discovered favorite snack) and that's saying a lot.

I love this Squall - Still uncertain but trusting and longing for Irvine. It's rare to see him so vulnerable. It's also fantastic to see Irvine's love and protectiveness - even 18 days later. Such a different spin...

Oh yeah - and the background plot with the sorceress and Seifer/Cass/Koshi is great too. Can't wait to see when Squall meets 'Seif' Hope my Irvine can handle it :-)

i can't help melting into a puddle of drooling giggling yaoi fangirl through-out reading this series,..ssssiigghh,..i'm a BIG FAN of IrvinexSquall pairing, and no, i don't actually like SxS or any of the het pairing in ff8 like IrvinexSelphie or SquallxRinoa, etc,etc,etc,..i'm not anti het or whatever, just don't think that either Irvine or Squall could be happy end up with any female characters in ff8,..AAANNYYWWAYYYY, this fic of yours is soo sweet and one of the best IrvinexSquall yaoi ff8 fiction i've ever read,..there seems to be such a small numbers of fiction dedicate to this pairing,..*pout*..hope you're gona continue writing more fiction centering on this beautiful pairing,..and please add more chapters soon,..\/^___~\/

Amazing. Simply amazing. At first I felt like the characterizations were a bit off, but you know, after a while it just grows on you and the dynamic between Irvine and Squall is so heart-warming! I never did think Rinoa was right for Squall and if ever anyone in the gang was going to get the Ice Prince to open up, Irvine is the only man for the job. I love your descriptiveness and your tasteful, romantic boy-smut. Ahhh...It's like reading a really good romance novel. Keep it up and update soon! I love your stories and I'm glad someone else besides me think that Seifer would make a terrible boyfriend. XD Irvine x Squall forever!

bestbits: Chapter 5 was awesome. I love the part at the end where Irvine explains to Squall why he loves him just the way he is. Very powerful and moving.

bestbits: Honestly, if I had to choose just one, it would be the last scene in this, the most recent, chapter. Tres indiquant, it nearly made me cry, it was so perfect written. Squall's pain, how open and receptive Irvine was, it was... well, it just was. There isn't a word to describe it, not written anyway. Beautiful.
